Michael walked us through the process of repairing the cover of a vintage Russian book on house keeping …
The cover was removed with a stanley knife and the old glue scraped from the surface.
The book was placed in a makeshift clamp between two pieces of wood tightened with gardening wire.
Copydex glue was applied and a remnant of denim fixed to the surface.
Amelia created a nose for Gabriel’s toy seal by sewing on a button.
Cat Fletcher brought along a range of broken glasses to mend with colourful Sugru.
